About this program
Rumbalara Environmental Education Centre will be running a Youth Leadership Program in 2025. Students from each school will identify an environmental project, issue or action that interests them within their school, in their local community or more broadly.
The program is an excellent way to support HPGE students and will cover elements of the creative, intellectual and social-emotional domains.

Important information
Students participate in two Leadership Days in Term 1 and Term 3.
Cost: $20 per student for each day i.e. $40 total per student.
Mentor visits from Rumbalara EEC are free.
Schools are invited to send 4-6 Stage 3 students to participate during the school year.
The program will begin with an inspiring and motivational leadership workshop for all participating schools. The day will include inspirational speakers, a focus on leadership skills and provide an understanding of local environmental issues. Rumbalara EEC staff will then mentor participating students and allocate two school visits to support students on their project during the year.
Expression of Interest will be distributed to schools. Principals and teachers are asked to identify 4-6 students within their school that may be suitable to participate in this program.
