About this incursion
Join us for an exciting Stage 1 incursion, where students use science to investigate their local school environment! Students have the opportunity to explore local ecosystems and uncover the fascinating relationships between plants, animals, and their habitats.
This program aims to provide students with an experience that will encourage ongoing appreciation of wildlife and a desire to act for its conservation. Get ready for a day filled with discovery, adventure, and inspiration as we connect with nature and learn the importance of protecting our planet!
Learning Intentions and Success Criteria
We are learning to:
- collect data about living things
- describe the changes in living things
We can:
- describe changes in animals as they go through their life cycle
- collect data on living things in a local habitat and represent it using a graph
