Inclusive Education
At Rumbalara Environmental Education Centre, we are dedicated to providing inclusive environmental education that welcomes and supports all students. Inclusion is a core value embedded in our Centre’s culture, policies, and everyday practices.
All NSW public school students have the right to learn in safe, supportive and inclusive environments where they feel happy, respected and valued. NSW public schools are equipped to support students with disability and additional learning and support needs through reasonable adjustments and personalised learning strategies.
All our programs can be customised to meet the diverse needs and abilities of your students, including options such as wheelchair accessibility, adapted activities, alternative fieldwork routes, and social narratives to assist with preparation and engagement. We encourage teachers to contact us to discuss specific student requirements so we can design safe, accessible, and enriching excursions and incursions for every class.
