Extension programs

HPGE Eco-Logical Thinkers

Rumbalara teachers will work with students to explore the amazing world of ecosystems and the creatures that live within them.

HPGE Numeracy in Nature

Rumbalara EEC teachers will come to your school as an incursion to encourage students who have an interest in Maths and would benefit from developing their environmental maths skills at a high level.

HPGE Environmental Art Day

Students will learn all about the endangered Regent Honey Eater and participate in an art workshop with renowned artist Jenny McCracken.

HPGE Youth Leadership Program

Rumbalara Environmental Education Centre will be running a Youth Leadership Program in 2025. Students from each school will identify an environmental project, issue or action that interests them within their school, in their local community or more broadly.

Water Efficiency/Flow Forward Program

Rumbalara EEC will be offering the Water Efficiency/Flow Forward Program (WEP). The program is aimed at Stage 2, 3 and 4, and is perfectly suited for student leadership groups and HPGE classes.

When the ‘Bright Sparks’ energy trailer comes to your school, students go on a journey through the scientific discoveries that sparked the industrial revolution and our current dependence on fossil fuelled electricity.
