Rumbalara EEC offers waste audits and curriculum support for waste management in schools. We are currently (as at 06.03.24) working with the Department of Education's Infrastructure Unit and the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) to implement a waste reduction and recycling project in NSW DoE schools. Stage 1 was in 2023 and Stage 2 will commence in Term 3, 2024.

- Resources and support for composting and worm farming for Central Coast residents is available through compostrevolution.com.au

Cleanaway currently provides waste collection services for more than 15 000 commercial customers. The Take 3 education program aims to excite students to become marine advocates at their campus and within their local area. Students will examine thier own behaviour in terms of single-use plastic consumption and connect litter in the environment with the effects on marine and other wildlife. is a centre for education and research specialising in marine, coastal and estuarine environments. Council's recycling service
Schools are able to access the council's recycling services, which are charged using the rates under the Business Waste category. Schools would need to complete and lodge the appropriate commercial waste services request form on the Cleanaway website. The principal must sign the form to accept that these charges will be added to a rates account and that a rates notice will be issued to the school.
